Amethyst and Tourmaline Pendant

Amazing designer pendant comprising of natural semi precious Amethyst and a pink Tourmaline shard, set in to Indian silver.
92.5% Indian Silver jewellery (not hall marked).
Approximately 25mm drop,  10mm across.
 
This piece was designed by Joanna Hall. She selects the semi precious stones in Jaipur from various stone cutting families and dealers, always choosing the very best - "The ones that sing". 
Surrounded by the stones she designs these totally unique pieces, allowing the colours and shapes of the gems to take the lead.  These one off creations are then set in silver by  the skilled silver smiths.
Jo has been working with some of the families in this process for over 25 years.

Amethyst is a purple natural semi precious stone, ever popular and much loved.  Known for its powerful protective and cleansing  properties. This beautifully faceted Amethyst has amazing inclusions that catch and glimmer in the light. 
Tourmaline is a gorgeous semi-precious stone formed in many colours in long liniar shards and is believed to be protective, grounding and to aid in balancing one’s chakra's.
