Rainbow Moonstone and Pink Tourmaline Pendant

A north/south oriented hinged Pendant comprising of natural semi precious cabochon Rainbow Moonstones and Watermelon Tourmaline, set in Indian silver.
Nicely balanced and increasing in size , the settings are hinged to sit naturally against the skin.
92.5% Indian Silver jewellery (not hall marked).

This piece was designed by Joanna Hall. She selects the semi precious stones in Jaipur from various stone cutting families and dealers, alway choosing the very best - "The ones that sing". 
Surrounded by the stones she designs these totally unique pieces, allowing the colours and shapes of the gems to take the lead.  These one off creations are then set in silver by some of the most skilled silver smiths in the trade.
Jo has been working with some of the families in this process for over 25 years.
 
Rainbow Moonstone is a creamy, partially translucent semi-precious stone with flashes of colour that shimmer and dance accross the surface of the gem with movement. A much loved, ever poular stone.
