Rutilated Quartz, Green Tourmaline and Aquamarine Hinged Pendant

Gorgeous, bright, light and sunny, one-off pendant comprising of natural semi-precious rutilated quartz (known to some as angel hair or venus hair strone) with deep rich green tourmaline pencils and a yellow tinged aquamarine. Set in Indian silver.
The hinges between the stones on this beauty give it a wonderful fluid feel as it sits in harmony with the shape of the  body.

This piece was designed by Joanna Hall. She selects the semi precious stones in Jaipur from various stone cutting families and dealers, always choosing the very best - "The ones that sing". 
Surrounded by the stones, she designs these totally unique pieces, allowing the colours and shapes of the gems to take the lead.  These one off creations are then set in silver by the  highly skilled silversmiths.
Jo has been working with some of the families in this process for over 25 years.
